He should pay it...He wouldn't want to be called a hypocrite.

The reason it happens is because of over conservation. They brainwash people to believe that animals are just as important as people. Anytime there is an attack it’s almost always blamed on the human. You can’t go camping or hiking anymore without having to worry about. I wish people would stop trying to apply the value of human life to an animal that would gladly eat your face if you gave it the chance. You’re over the top environmental movement puts my kids in danger. %99.9 of all living things that have ever lived are extinct. Get over it. If the bears were not over conserved, this would not have happened on this scale. Remember the little boy holding his dads hand like 10 feet out of the parking lot of the camping grounds? A large wild cat came right up and drug the kid off by his head. I am sure there are people that will blame the kid or the dad for it.

Well...isn't that just special? The parishioners have know about what was going on for years and years but chose to keep quiet. You Catholics and Jehovah Witless's are afraid to speek up. Rot in hell

I should probably know, but I don't. Is this the same barn that for years has had the "Dr. Pierce's Plesant Pellets" painted on it? When I read Historic Barn, that is the one I thought of.

Bud has marketed themselves as "America's Beer" for years. Can't say what their sales will do when the foreign buy-out becomes commen knowledge, but it will definitely shoot holes in a twenty-year-old sales pitch.

I watched Mr. Smith's story on the news and the story touched me, and I also live in Oregon. I have suffered from mistaken identity. In 1990 my father was convicted of sexual abuse and our names differ only by middle initial. In 2000 he was released from prison and in 2003 he went on the run. He is a registered sex offender and each year he fails to report, it's a new crime. The police had been to my house 3 different times, believing that I was the person that they were looking for, then almost 3 years ago I was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, the warrant had actually been issued for me! In the past few years this mistaken identity has proven to be quite a problem to deal with, especially when trying to find employment, and my father's history is reported instead of mine. The entire ordeal has been quite traumatic on my family and we are currently seeking legal actions to correct the problems. I now live in fear, and have lived in fear ever since my arrest. You said that on camera and that is what touched me. I know your fear.

It angers me that people feed the bears. Once any wild animal starts relying on people to feed them they become conditioned to relate people with food. We have the same problem were I live with people feeding deer and wild turkeys. Not that the deer or turkeys are going to attack livestock, but it can get touchy for people, especially young children when a large buck comes looking for a hand out. We can’t grow flowers or vegetables without containing in a deer fence. Turkeys come into our front yard on a regular basis, sometimes chasing our cats if they get too close. Deer and turkeys pose little threat, but even a small black bear can do some serious damage to a person. Talk to any person who has started feeding a wild animal and they will probably tell you it was a mistake, regardless of the size. People need to understand that wild animals are just that, wild animals. Leave them alone and let them be wild, give them the space to be what they are meant to be.

This really pisses me off! Those bears were only looking for food, and the best way to handle it is to kill them? It reminds me of the saying "Simple solutions for simple minds". It appears to me that we have a lot simple minded people out there calling the shots(no pun intended). This is more of a people problem, the bears are only doing what comes naturally, it's the idiot people who have invaded their space that is the problem.

How is it our goverment has not recognised there is a disaster happening! Our honey bees have disappeared! My family and I live in a very rural part of suffolk and so far this year I have counted three honey bees!! This goverment is doing a very good Ostrich affect with its head in the sand. Research must be funded now and big amounts. We must not allow blind polititions to allow a world without the honey bee!! Paul Miners

Mr. West appears to be clinically depressed. He should undergo a psychiatric assessment as well as an anger management asseessment and be guided by the results of such assessments. He probably views anger management in a negative light which is unfortunate. Anger management is a class or coaching designed to improve skills in anger management ,stress mangement, communication and emotional intelligence. George Anderson, MSW, BCD, CAMF
